His detention has been extended once again. On Wednesday, Pooja Singhal appeared in the special ED court. Suspended IAS officer Pooja Singhal and CA Suman Kumar, accused of money laundering, were produced in the special court of ED. Both were produced in the court through video conferencing from Birsa Munda Central Jail in Ranchi. After this, the court has extended the custody of both till July 5. ED will soon file a charge sheet in this case. Pooja Singhal was sent to Birsa Munda Central Jail Hotwar Jail on May 25 after ED’s 14-day police remand. While his CA Suman Kumar is in jail since May 20. Both were produced together. Now his next appearance will be on July 5.
High Court said, law and order of the state is not good
The Deoghar District Court of Jharkhand High Court has taken suo motu cognizance of the shooting of the accused. The court has sought a response from the state government in this matter.
