3 Idiots actor Akhil Mishra dies at 67 after falling in kitchen

Actor Akhil Mishra, known for playing the role of librarian Dubey in Aamir Khan’s ‘3 Idiots’, died in an unfortunate accident. The actor is survived by his wife and actress, Suzanne Bernert. He was 67His wife Suzanne Bernert said Mishra, who had blood pressure issues, succumbed to injuries following the accident in the kitchen. “He was on a chair in the kitchen trying to do something when he fell down and hurt his head and back. He was later rushed to the hospital by the family and neighbours. He was still coherent while going to the hospital. And then internal haemorrhage started. A friend close to the couple shared exclusively with the indianexpress.com that the actor was unwell for some time due to blood pressure-related issues. He was on a stool in the kitchen trying to do something, when he reportedly fell down and hurt his head. He was found bleeding and injured, and was rushed to the hospital.
